World renown sportsbook Bet365 is the latest sportsbook to get approval to operate in the Rocky Mountain state.
Bet365 is already well known in many countries throughout the world but has yet to make its mark in the United States. Main competitor William Hill is a UK based bookie that has been in the U.S. market for years and was flourishing before the coron-virus pandemic put an end to that. Before the shutdown William Hill was estimated to have been taking 1 out of every four bets placed in the country. Bet365 will look to duplicate the success of, or at the very least compete with William Hill.
Bet365 generates over $4B in revenue worldwide and employs over 4600 people. The move into Colorado is a foreshadowing of Bet365’s intent to be more competitive in states which are emerging as sports betting markets.
