The New Jersey sportsbook scene just got more crowded. Bet365, a 20 year old betting company out of the UK, has just been approved to operate in the “garden state”.
The sportsbook is currently in “live-testing” mode where it is limiting the amount of time it is active. This is done to test certain aspects of the website and app. Bet365 wants to be fully operational by the start of the college football regular season later this week.
Anyone is the U.S. is free to visit and register, but only residents of NJ can actually wager.
New Jersey was the state that fought to make sports betting legal in the states and has by far been the most aggressive in handing out contracts.
