Capital One Sportsbook Ready to Take Bets

Cap One Arena Sportsbook

July 31st 2020

The former box office space at the Capital One Arena in Washington DC has been converted into a temporary sportsbook. The location is licensed to William Hill and is set to take cash bets at the moment.

The spot is temporary because the permanent sportsbook spot is currently being built. The box office location will be open 7 days a week from 7am – 7pm. Of course safety protocols remain in place for the Covid-19 pandemic that is currently affecting the world. Facemasks must be work to the sportsbook.

Capital One Arena is home to the Washington Wizards, the Washington Capitols and the Washington Mystics of the WNBA. It is the very first location in the States to have betting kiosks.

William Hill is a well-known sportsbook operation that has been established world-wide for many years now. The deal was able to happen so quickly because the teams that play at the arena are all owned by Ted Leonsis. He knows a good idea when he sees it and betting on games at the game location will be a ash cow when it is up and fully running.
