Giants Largest Underdog in Team History

Giants vs Patriots TNF Preview

October 09th 2019

The New York Giants are 16.5 point underdogs tomorrow night when they travel to Massachusetts to take on the New England Patriots.

This point spread marks the largest in team history when they were underdogs. This lines is also the largest spread for an NFL Thursday Night football game ever.

Some may recall Super Bowl XLII when the Giants were 11.5 to 12.5 point underdogs to the then undefeated Patriots. The Giants pulled a huge upset beating the Patriots 17-14 that Super Bowl. Can it happen again tomorrow night?

It is interesting to note that Tom Brady is just 1-5 ATS in his last 6 games against the Giants. New York seems to play well against New England and Tom Brady.

But this Giants teas features a rookie QB, a rookie RB with only 9 carries under his belt and a defense that ranks 30th out of 32 teams.

New England, on the other hand, ranks #1 in defense and has the #2 highest scoring offense of 2019 thus far.

How will this game shake out? One media outlet makes a case for a Giants upset. We are not so sure.

It really is a tough call at this point but signs appear to point to New England winning by a bunch of points.
