Its not looking good for the Golden State Warriors. They are down 3-1 in the Finals series to Toronto. Even with Klay Thompson back in the lineup and leading the Warriors in scoring with 28 points, it wasn’t enough to top a team which is on fire right now.
If Kevin Durant comes back will it be enough to win three in a row and steal the NBA Championship? The odds are highly stacked against that happening but it has been done, just several years ago, in fact, when the Cavaliers came back from a 3-1 deficit to this Golden State Warriors team. According to the Boston Globe only ten teams in the history of the NBA playoffs have come back from a 3-1 deficit to win that series.

Apparently they are already celebrating in Toronto like they have won the title (see below). Any sports bettor who believes in jinxes knows that this is not a good thing.
At any rate, here are the opening odds for Game 5 back in Toronto:
Team | Line | Moneyline | Total |
---|---|---|---|
Golden State Warriors | +3.5 | +145 | 212 |
Toronto Raptors | -3.5 | -165 |
Party + direct traffic. Very Canada. 🇨🇦 😂 🎉
