With Anthony Joshua getting TKO’s this past weekend, that leaves boxing fans and bettors to turn their eye to the event they all want to see: Tyson Fury vs. Deontay Wilder Part 2. Their first fight ended with a draw and was one of the more entertaining fights in recent memory until that time.
Even though Andy Ruiz holds the IBF and WBA belts, people are looking forward to the rematch of these two titans more so than watching Ruiz fight. Which ever boxer wins the Wilder Fury fight, he will go on to fight Andy Ruiz and attempt to unify the belts and become undisputed champion.
The story on the streets is that Fury vs. Wilder has already been inked. But it has not been officially released or announced. The odds for Fury Wilder 2 are looking like they will be even odds. In the first fight, Wilder was favored -160 and Fury was +130. But before Fury gets a second attempt at Wilder, he has a fight scheduled in Las Vegas for the 15th of this month. He is fighting 24 year old Tom Schwarz of Germany. Schwarz is 24-0 and has 16 KO’s. But he has never fought anyone outside of Germany. Fury is 27-0-1 and vacated his belts because he didn’t defend in the allotted time.
The odds are stacked against Tom Schwarz. Odds at Sugar House Sportsbook have Fury as the heavy favorite. See odds below:
