William Hill, now having been long established in the U.S. market has made a very substantial acquisition. CG Technology (formerly Cantor Gaming) is the company behind the sportsbooks at The Venetian and The Palazzo, the Palms, the Tropicana and Silverton in Las Vegas – Nevada. William Hill has announced it has made a full take over of CG Technology and their assets.
William Hill already operates 113 retail locations in Nevada. The move is part of their ever-expanding presence in the USA.
“It gives it more assets on the Las Vegas Strip,” says Joe Asher, CEO of William Hill US. He went on to say “We look forward to working with our new casino partners and transitioning CG Technology’s retail and mobile customers to our award-winning offering.”
“If your state is legalizing sports betting you can bet that William Hill will have already assessed if it is worth their time and effort to move into that space. They are professionals and have been doing sports betting a long time.” said a unnamed teller we interviewed at the Venetian.
